We kindly request that you make a booking in advance as we do not accommodate walk-in tests. To schedule your preferred time slot and date, simply click on 'Schedule Your Time' when placing your order. Our friendly staff will promptly confirm your booking and preferred location via email or phone during order processing.
The test will take approximately 20 minutes, during which our expert staff will guide you through specific hand movements. These movements are part of a standard procedure used by doctors to diagnose or rule out Parkinson's Disease. Two small, non-invasive sensors will be placed on your finger and thumb using medical tape to monitor your hand movements.
Upon completing the test, your results will be generated instantly. To help you understand and discuss the findings, we will provide you with a comprehensive written report. This report empowers you to have informed conversations with your GPs or specialists, enabling timely diagnosis and appropriate management of your condition.
Please remember that while the motor examination is an essential component of diagnosing Parkinson's Disease, it is just one piece of the puzzle.
